It took me a long time to get to this point. I heard about Twitter several years ago from some other photographer friends, but I was a hard one to convince. I am fairly private with my personal life, so the idea of putting my thoughts and tweets online for anyone and everyone to see just felt so odd to me. But, I know it has become a really important aspect of business. After months of thinking to myself, "I really need to get a Twitter account for my business," I finally did it! There is a lot of pressure to think of something creative or funny for your first tweet so I decided to take the pressure off and just start already. I am working on a project that has led me on a little walk down memory lane. The Long-Awaited Baby Girl | Upland Maternity Photographer
Kelly is such a radiant, gorgeous pregnant woman! I can't even believe that she will have her baby in ONE week! (I can only hope to look that good when I am about to have a baby!) After two boys Kelly was thrilled to find out her third baby is a girl! Kelly is an amazing mom to her two boys and I am sure she will be an incredible mother to her little girl. I have known and photographed Kelly and her family for several years and it is so much fun for me to see her kids grow. She is also an amazing decorator and her nursery is a dream! I had to include some detail shots of the nursery to show off her talent. I can't wait to come back soon and meet your little one and to take her newborn photos. See you soon!
Hello 2010!
Looking back at 2009 has reminded me what is most important in my life. Regardless of what happens throughout the year, with the day-to-day ups and downs, what matters most are the people in my life and the relationships we share. I have some really amazing people that I get to walk through life with and I am exceedingly grateful for them. Some of those wonderful people allowed me to be a part of their lives through photography. This slideshow includes an image from *almost* every session I shot in 2009. Thank you for the honor of inviting me into your lives. I am excited to see what 2010 has in store!
