A Baby on the Way! | Pasadena Maternity Photographer

I am so glad that we did Gillian's maternity session when we did, because she went into labor a few weeks early and had her baby just a few days after this photo session.  What a fun session this was! Ken and Gillian have the brightest, most endearing little girl!  Eva is so smart, talkative, and fun to be around, so I had a great time playing with her during our session.  She even got to hear some of my silly animal sounds so I could earn a smile from her for the camera.  Her favorite animals are kitties and horses... and she makes their sounds very well.  I even gave them a try, too.  She is clearly adored by her parents, and I am sure she will emulate that adoration, in turn, towards her new baby brother.

Gillian, you are an absolutely gorgeous pregnant mama and I was honored to photograph this time in your life.  I am sure that you and Ken will be amazing parents to your two precious children.  I can't wait to meet your newest addition this afternoon for his newborn session.  See you soon!

Eva was singing a song to her parents and you can see from their expressions how much they adore their little girl. It's so sweet!

I will end this post with one of Gillian looking absolutely stunning!  You are so beautiful... and I am positive that Ken agrees.

Announcing Mother's Day Mini-Sessions | Pasadena Children's Photographer

We are thrilled to announce the return of last year's wildly popular mini-sessions!  These limited-availability sessions will be offered on the Saturday before Mothers’ Day (May 8th).  Sessions will take place in a beautiful green park in the Pasadena area. WHAT IS A MINI-SESSION?

Your mini-session fee of $300 includes 20 minutes of shooting time with Erin and a $175 product credit to be spent on images from the session. (Prices start at $45 for a 5x7 and $65 for an 8x10). A small selection of specialty items as well as individually-priced digital files will also be available just for mini-session clients. Two weeks after your mini-session, you'll be shown a minimum of 10 images in a private online gallery where you can place your order in the comfort of your own home.  {The mini-sessions are a great value as the full custom session fee is $250 and does not include product credit.}

FOR WHOM ARE  MINI-SESSIONS IDEAL?

A mini-session is for you if you've recently had a session with Erin but would love new images to mark a milestone, but aren't quite ready for a second full custom session yet. Or perhaps you've been meaning to try an Erin Sullivan Photography session but just haven't gotten around to it. Or maybe you're a friend of a client who wants to get a small taste of what it's all about. Or maybe you just want a few gorgeous spring images of your family! While our mini-sessions cannot compare to the completely custom experience of a full session, they are perfect for any of these situations.

LIMITED AVAILABILITY:

These limited availability sessions were announced to current clients on Monday and the response has been phenomenal!  There are still a few spots open.  If you are interested, just email me or submit the contact form accessible from the menu above.  If you'd like to be added to the mailing list, just let me know!  The mini-session fee of $300 is required to hold your spot and, again, includes your session as well as $175 product credit. Preferred times on the schedule will be held in order of payment received.

NOTE: If you prefer the luxury of a full custom Erin Sullivan Photography session at your home or outdoor location of your choice, the calendar for the remainder of spring and summer 2010 is open and a few dates remain.

$75 GIFT CERTIFICATES: You will receive a $75 gift certificate to be used towards your session for every person you refer who books a session with Erin Sullivan Photography.

Enjoy some favorites in the park!

Twitter | Pasadena Family Photographer

It took me a long time to get to this point.  I heard about Twitter several years ago from some other photographer friends, but I was a hard one to convince.  I am fairly private with my personal life, so the idea of putting my thoughts and tweets online for anyone and everyone to see just felt so odd to me.  But, I know it has become a really important aspect of business. After months of thinking to myself, "I really need to get a Twitter account for my business," I finally did it!  There is a lot of pressure to think of something creative or funny for your first tweet so I decided to take the pressure off and just start already.  You can check out my recent tweets in the sidebar on the left or go directly to my Twitter account. Hope to meet you in the Twitter world soon!
