I had the pleasure of documenting an amazing milestone for our dear friends a few months ago while we were visiting Georgia. These portraits were taken about a month before she was due and isn't she just glowing?! Baby Hudson is already a few months old now, so I thought it was finally time to share a few of my favorites from our time together. I'm so thankful to have met your family years ago through my husband and we are so grateful to have you all in our lives. We can't wait to actually meet Hudson next time we are in town!

I'm thrilled to share that my work has been featured in Los Angeles edition of The Bump magazine! It is such an honor to be included and so exciting to see images of the lovely families I've worked with printed in a magazine. The Bump is a wonderful resource for moms-to-be as well as new moms. Not only do they create a delightful, quarterly magazine but they also have a fabulous online presence with lots of helpful ideas, articles, and resources. I am so grateful for the families that have trusted and supported me along the way in my photography journey. I want to specifically thank the four families that gave their encouragement and permission to share these images in The Bump magazine. I love each one of these portrait sessions and I feel like these images truly show the style and heart of my photography. 
Baby's First Year | Los Angeles Baby Photographer
I consider photographing newborn babies and their families a privilege. They are only tiny and new for such a short window of time and I take the responsibility of capturing those first days very seriously. As you can imagine, parents don't get to retake the photos if they don't turn out the way they had dreamed. I also enjoy documenting the new connections between the parents and newborn as they are just getting to know one another. What I love even more is getting to document a family as their babies grow. I love seeing their unique personalities begin to emerge. I love getting to document the important milestones of first gummy smiles, rolling over, sitting up, crawling, and first steps. I love watching the parents' thrilled responses to all of their baby's milestones during the first year.
This past year I had the pleasure of documenting Miss O's first year. She has a very special place in my heart since she is my niece. I have shared a few of these photos already, but I wanted to share some more images from each of her portrait sessions during her first 12 months. Waiting for Baby | Los Angeles Maternity and Newborn Photographer
Celebrating the home they've made in Los Angeles, these Southerners wanted to capture this special time in their lives to include a view of the city they've come to love. I could not have been more excited to document this maternity session with a view of the Los Angeles skyline as seen from The Griffith Observatory. Though this was our first meeting, we became fast friends chatting about our shared love of international travel and our experiences living in the south. You two were so kind to me and your southern hospitality really shone through. I am thrilled for you as you are just weeks away from the arrival of your little one. I can't wait to document the next stage of your journey with newborn portraits as soon as your baby is here.
It was a little bit overcast and chilly on this morning, but we still had a breathtaking view of the Los Angeles skyline. I truly feel so lucky to call this city my home and to be able to photograph other people who love it as much as I do.

I love it when a couple can really laugh and have fun together! Being able to laugh with each other is such a necessity as a parent, so I'm certain that you two will be incredible parents!
Gorgeous Custom-Designed Leather Heirloom Albums
Custom-designed leather heirloom albums are a timeless, artistic way to showcase a portrait session. These portrait albums are hand-crafted and some of the highest quality available. They can be included in the family archives alongside other special items like a wedding album. Albums can be designed for once-in-lifetime milestones, like the arrival of a new baby, or to chronicle the growth of a family. It's such a fun idea to plan a family portrait session at the same time each year to show how your family has grown and changed and then showcase the images in a heirloom album for the family archives. I love these albums so much that I am planning to create an album per year for my family. This featured album is eight inches by eight inches with a genuine leather cover. I custom design each album to showcase the best images from the portrait session. I like to keep the design timeless, simple, and elegant, which is achieved by featuring only one to four images per spread. This design includes 20 pages and approximately 30 images.
Consider what ways are you chronicling your family's growth. Once your children are grown I'm certain that they will thoroughly enjoy your efforts - as well as laughing with their siblings about the "awkward stages" they went through while growing up!
