The past year has been a whirlwind for me and I can hardly believe that January is almost over! I do not want to delay any longer, (I may blink my eyes and it will be summer time) so I am finally going to share some of my favorite portraits from this past year. Thank you to all of my clients for welcoming me into your homes and lives like I was another "auntie" to your children. It's in large part due to your big hearts that makes me love creating portrait photography as much as I do. I am honored and humbled to be able to document your growing families over the years. Thank you.
The Ever-Popular Holiday Mini Sessions | Pasadena Family Photographer
The holidays are just around the corner, so now is the time to reserve your spot for a mini portrait session. Mini sessions are perfect if you just want to have a quick session and get some great images in time for the holidays. They are also perfect for you if you have recently had a full custom session with Erin Sullivan Photography, but would like some new images for your holiday cards. Or maybe you’re a friend of a client who wants to get a small taste of what it’s all about. Mini sessions are not just for kids and babies either (although I do love kids and babies). Everyone from newlyweds to grandparents (and even your favorite pet dog) are all invited to join me for a mini session. *Please note that mini sessions are intended for up to 4-5 people. I am offering two options for mini sessions this year: an all print option and an all digital option.
The first option is great because you have a set of custom-designed holiday photo cards ready to go and extra product credit to go towards more cards, prints, storyboards, or albums. The second option is wonderful because you have the reprinting rights to all of your digital files and may print as many photos as you like on your own, including your own holiday cards, and you also receive a complimentary pair of matching accordion albums (which feature 8 images) and make great holiday gifts.
Each mini session takes place in a gorgeous green park in Pasadena, lasts 30 minutes and yields 10 proofs in an online ordering gallery.
These mini sessions fill up quickly, so contact me right away if you would like to reserve your time slot.
These are some favorites from recent sessions featuring one of Pasadena's prettiest parks. Enjoy!
A Baby on the Way! | Pasadena Maternity Photographer
I am so glad that we did Gillian's maternity session when we did, because she went into labor a few weeks early and had her baby just a few days after this photo session. What a fun session this was! Ken and Gillian have the brightest, most endearing little girl! Eva is so smart, talkative, and fun to be around, so I had a great time playing with her during our session. She even got to hear some of my silly animal sounds so I could earn a smile from her for the camera. Her favorite animals are kitties and horses... and she makes their sounds very well. I even gave them a try, too. She is clearly adored by her parents, and I am sure she will emulate that adoration, in turn, towards her new baby brother.
Gillian, you are an absolutely gorgeous pregnant mama and I was honored to photograph this time in your life. I am sure that you and Ken will be amazing parents to your two precious children. I can't wait to meet your newest addition this afternoon for his newborn session. See you soon!
Eva was singing a song to her parents and you can see from their expressions how much they adore their little girl. It's so sweet!
I will end this post with one of Gillian looking absolutely stunning! You are so beautiful... and I am positive that Ken agrees.
What a Difference a Few Weeks Make | Pasadena Newborn Photographer
Today I am revisiting two of my favorites sessions this summer. Can't get enough of the excitement and anticipation a maternity session holds... and then the awe and adoration a newborn session brings.
Twitter | Pasadena Family Photographer
It took me a long time to get to this point. I heard about Twitter several years ago from some other photographer friends, but I was a hard one to convince. I am fairly private with my personal life, so the idea of putting my thoughts and tweets online for anyone and everyone to see just felt so odd to me. But, I know it has become a really important aspect of business. After months of thinking to myself, "I really need to get a Twitter account for my business," I finally did it! There is a lot of pressure to think of something creative or funny for your first tweet so I decided to take the pressure off and just start already. You can check out my recent tweets in the sidebar on the left or go directly to my Twitter account. Hope to meet you in the Twitter world soon!
