Gorgeous Custom-Designed Leather Heirloom Albums

Custom-designed leather heirloom albums are a timeless, artistic way to showcase a portrait session.  These portrait albums are hand-crafted and some of the highest quality available.  They can be included in the family archives alongside other special items like a wedding album.  Albums can be designed for once-in-lifetime milestones, like the arrival of a new baby, or to chronicle the growth of a family.  It's such a fun idea to plan a family portrait session at the same time each year to show how your family has grown and changed and then showcase the images in a heirloom album for the family archives.  I love these albums so much that I am planning to create an album per year for my family. This featured album is eight inches by eight inches with a genuine leather cover.  I custom design each album to showcase the best images from the portrait session.  I like to keep the design timeless, simple, and elegant, which is achieved by featuring only one to four images per spread.  This design includes 20 pages and approximately 30 images.

Consider what ways are you chronicling your family's growth.  Once your children are grown I'm certain that they will thoroughly enjoy your efforts - as well as laughing with their siblings about the "awkward stages" they went through while growing up!

Happy Father's Day

We had a very Happy Father's Day yesterday!  Not only did we get to celebrate my husband's second Father's Day with our little guy (he was just 9 weeks old last year), but we also had the grandparents in town for a quick visit, too.  Our sweet boy has the most devoted, loving, and patient father a boy could ask for.  My husband's own dad has set a solid example of a loving and devoted father, for which we are both grateful. Looking at the photo below, I'm not sure who is more smitten: Papa or grandson?  I think it may be a tie!

Thank you, honey, for being such a wonderful and loving father to our boy.  We are both lucky to have you in our lives!

Introducing Baby Stella | San Marino Baby Photographer

Baby Stella was such a pleasure to photograph!  Her gummy little smiles lit up her sweet face when her mommy was talking to her.  Nine weeks is a really great age to photograph because they are still so tiny and new, yet very social, aware, and ready to offer very expressive smiles.  Throughout the session it was so clear that Stella is adored by her whole family, especially big sister Sienna.  I had the pleasure of photographing Sienna three and a half years ago so it was wonderful seeing her again.  She is so fun and full of energy and I'm sure will continue to be a loving big sister in the years to come.  Thank you for inviting me into your home and welcoming me with such hospitality as I had the pleasure of photographing your growing family!

Beautiful College Graduate | Los Angeles Senior Portrait Photographer

College graduates and high school seniors are a dream for me to photograph.  I love talking to them during their session to hear about their future plans and aspirations.  They are usually so hopeful, optimistic, eager, and full of life.  Working with Courtney was refreshing and energizing - just like her!  I had the distinct pleasure of photographing her four years ago for her high school graduation, so it was a true honor to photograph her again as she graduated from Azusa Pacific University (which also happens to be my alma mater).  She is not only gorgeous, but has a tremendously big heart, which is evident in her future plans to work with a non profit organization in India for a year.  Courtney, I am absoultely certain that you will do amazing things with your life and I feel excited to have a front row seat.  All the best to you as you embark on a new adventure!

Mother's Day Portraits | Palos Verdes Family Portrait Photographer

Mother's Day is such a great reason to have family portraits taken and it was wonderful to reconnect with this family.  This was our third portrait session together, but I hadn't seen them since their youngest was just a few days old having his newborn portraits taken.  We met up in Palos Verdes on a very WINDY morning.  You can even see how windy it was in some of the portraits, but we still had such a fun time! It's probably because I have a little boy, but I love seeing little boys doting on their mamas.  It melts my heart - and you can tell that these two just adore their mother.  Thank you, Debbie, for asking me to document this special time for your family. Enjoy some of my favorite images from our time together!

What a good looking family!

I love the belly laughs that comes from tickle time!
