It's a Girl! | Orange County Newborn Photographer

Congratulations to Leslie and Mike on the recent arrival of their adorable baby girl!  I'm really glad that we scheduled their maternity session when we did, because Miss Lyla decided to have her birthday a whole month early.  She is such a beautiful little one and was a dream to photograph.  It was very sweet to see the new parents doting on their first baby and it's evident that they will be incredibly loving parents. Leslie and Mike, thank you for inviting me to share in this experience with you and for trusting me to document this special time for your family.

I could not be more excited for my older brother and sister in law to become parents!  We took their maternity portraits where they exchanged their wedding vows over five years ago at Vista Del Sol d'Oro.  I absolutely loved their sentimental and creative idea to recreate some their favorite wedding portraits as they anticipate the arrival of their daughter. It's a rare thing to see a relationship where each person truly compliments and completes the other person; but this is what I see in my brother and sister in law's marriage.  I truly could not have asked for a better wife for my brother or a better mother for my niece.  I love them both more than words can express - and I am certain that I will adore my niece just as much!

I know you will be incredibly loving parents and I am thrilled to share this journey together.

Leslie and Mike's Orange County maternity session was very special for me to document.  Leslie and I attended Azusa Pacific University together and it was so fun to reconnect after all these years to capture this time in their lives.  Also, Leslie's due date is very close to my little one's first birthday, so photographing Leslie reminded me of my thoughts and feelings about becoming a mother last spring.  I'm so excited for them to begin their own parenting journey together in a few more weeks.  I love how these portraits turned out and how they capture their deep love for each other, but also their anticipation and excitement about the arrival of their little one. Leslie and Mike, I know how much you already love this baby and can tell that you will be amazing parents.  I can't wait to see you soon to photograph your little one after the arrival.

My friendship with Brooke is the longest that I have had and I cherish it deeply.  We have been dear friends for years and have shared many exciting milestones with each other... graduating from high school (well, and junior high, too!), graduating from college, starting our careers, getting married, and now... Brooke and Scott are having their first baby!  I can't wait to meet their beautiful little girl and see them become parents.  Brooke and Scott, I am thrilled for you and I am certain that you will be amazingly loving parents!

Excitement and Anticipation {Pasadena Maternity Photographer}

I have known Emily since we were in 8th grade!  She has been one of my dearest friends for over half of our lives and I appreciate that even after all these years, we can always pick up where we left off and it feels like no time has passed. She and Jeff have decided to wait until the baby is born to find out the gender, which adds so much more anticipation.  Emily and Jeff, I know you will be incredible parents and I am thrilled to see your family grow from 2 to 3! Only a few weeks more and we all will get to meet your baby girl... or baby boy!
